Your book is stored in a database on the server and backed up there. Take a copy whenever you want one, in whichever form suits.

The spreadsheet has a tab for each part of the book: jobs, enquiries, quotes, payments, costs and the rest. The report is the year on a few pages, for the accountant, the bank or a buyer.
The restore file is for us, not for reading: every table exactly as stored, so the book can be put back. Importing replaces what is here now.

Your recurring monthly costs: wages, insurance, marketing, software etc. This is your current monthly run-rate, and it is what a month gets charged until you say what that month really was. Click any cost name, amount or VAT flag to edit it inline. Sort by clicking a column heading.

Import Your Existing Spreadsheets (CSV)
Save any tab of your Excel/ODS files as CSV (Excel: File → Save As → CSV. LibreOffice/ODS: File → Save As → Text CSV), then drop it in below. Download the template first if you want to match column names exactly. The importer is flexible on naming, but closer is safer.

Projects no longer need a linked quote. Client name, job type and value go straight on the project. Costs match to a project by client name. Importing is additive: it never deletes existing data.
